Em 1979, ao compilar sua lista de vi\u00e9ses em pesquisas, David Sackett definiu o vi\u00e9s de mensura\u00e7\u00e3o insens\u00edvel como: &#8220;<em>Quando as medidas de desfechos s\u00e3o incapazes de detectar mudan\u00e7as ou diferen\u00e7as clinicamente significativas, um erro do tipo II ocorre<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Erro tipo II \u00e9 aquele em que uma associa\u00e7\u00e3o verdadeira n\u00e3o \u00e9 detectada e diferen\u00e7as genu\u00ednas entre grupos s\u00e3o perdidas.
